If you love the real estate industry, and have a passion for photography, creating a virtual tour photography business plan may set you on the road to a new, successful career.

Virtual tours are becoming a popular item for many companies to place on their websites. It can provide their customers with the chance of seeing the location or product before actually visiting. It’s a way of qualifying your customer before you spend hours, or even days with them.

And because of its popularity, it’s the perfect opportunity for a business venture.

Start by setting up your business exclusively to market virtual tour photography. Establish your business identity and create a name and branding that communicates with your target market. If you have dreams of expanding outside of this industry, you might be better off with a generic name. But if this is your niche, something along the lines of Virtual Tour Photography is a great way to get your message instantly across.

Next, decide what resources you need for your business. Do you need a commercial location to meet clients, or will you work out of your home? What type of camera equipment and software will you need? While a start-up business shouldn’t invest in extravagant equipment, you should purchase enough equipment to sufficiently do your job, and to have backup equipment available at all sessions.

Then join professional organizations that will put you in touch with your target market. Join real estate associations, chamber of commerce’s, and local leads groups to get in front of realtors and other business owners that can help bring in business.

Starting with the real estate industry may seem like the natural choice. But from there, you do have many other options for target markets. Consider these industries that would also benefit from having virtual tours:

* Real estate

* Hotels

* Resorts

* Outdoor locations and events

* Restaurants

* Retail stores

* Tourist attractions

* Convention centers

* Vacation rentals

* Property developers

Virtual tours have become an important part of business. Most businesses now have a website for advertising their business. And as more businesses become more sophisticated with their marketing, they understand the need for information, and the power the Internet holds in reaching out to people, and providing them what they are looking for.

Virtual photography is one of those tools that will grow over time. The technology is now at a level where almost all Internet users have the ability to view such a presentation. Which means there will be an increase in the amount of businesses looking at virtual tours as a way of communicating with their prospects and clients.

Starting with realtors is the obvious first step. But then use the above list to come up with a more creative approach to businesses. Teach them the benefits of this powerful tool, and create a successful business in the process.

Branch out as you feel the desire to grow, and the referrals begin coming in. In just a matter of a few months you can be well on your way to a successful, thriving business.

Create Fireworks with Your Call-to-Action

Every great performance goes out with a bang, right? My favorite finale has always been fireworks. Whether it’s the end of the day at Disney World or a Fourth of July Celebration, I enjoy the bright colors and loud sounds of the explosions. They bring to mind a sense of power and impact that finishes off a great day.

Why not take that concept and include it into copywriting for your next direct mail campaign? The three most import aspects of any sales letter/flyer/postcard are:

1. Openings that get your mail read
2. Copy that sells
3. And yes… a call-to-action that makes a big bang!

The call-to-action must be direct and to the point. A simply click here, buy today, or save money isn’t enough. It’s kind of like hanging up a “Wanted Dead or Alive” sign around town without supplying a name. It doesn’t lead to the capture of many “wanted.”

The three basic aspects of a strong call to action are…

1. Communicate your expectations.
If you want your reader to pick up the phone, visit your Web site, or bring a coupon to your store, say it. Be direct! Let them know exactly what you want them to do.

2. Make it easy.
We live in a busy world. Don’t make it hard for the reader to figure out how to contact you. After you communicate the action you’re looking for, put the information right there. Include Web addresses, phone numbers, or even a map to your store. Your busy readers will appreciate it.

3. Make it emotional.
Love, fear, guilt, and pride are emotional factors that directly affect response and buying decisions.

Once your copy is written, make a checklist of these three vital aspects of your call-to-action, and guarantee explosive results!

Do you like video games? Do you beat video games after playing once? Do you feel like the games are too easy? Well, it sounds like you have a passion for these things then you should go where your heart leads you.

If you at the point where you are thinking about your career, I suggest that you do what you love to do. You should consider a different course of action: majoring in something you TRULY enjoy... something you could do hours on end without feeling like you are working at all. And if you are like many people, this 'something' would be playing video games.

That's right! You can actually get a job creating and/or playing video games. Below is a list of some of the careers available for those with a video game degree.

1) Video Game Programmer

Gameinformer Magazine mentions that, video game programmers are the "heart and soul" of the industry. They are the ones responsible for creating the code necessary for getting video games to function. And contrary to popular belief, their jobs aren't always easy. Video game programming often involves creating complex functions and algorithms often times more challenging than programs created in Corporate America.

Indeed, game programming may not be the appropriate course for everyone seeking a video game career, but if you were deciding to go into the computer field anyway, which job would be more enjoyable... coding the next Halo, or working on a boring, hum-drum piece of no-name software?

2) Video Game Tester

As a video game tester it is a position in which you truly would get paid for playing video games. According to current game tester Doug D. from Electronic Arts, he say's as a game tester you would "go over different components of a game and look for things that just don't make sense." You would also "break the game," meaning you would "do things a normal user would do and accidentally see something go wrong."

Doug Powell further adds that video game testing is a good place to start for young people who want to "break into the industry." To get such a position in it is best to have a "passion for gaming" and some educational background. Doug recommends a degree, or some form of higher-level education.

3) Video Game Animator

Animators are in charge for coordinating the movement of video game characters. Accomplishing requires more than drawing something on a piece of paper, which according to Alex Jones, an established game animator, occurs after a lot of "brainstorming, chilling, playing, planning and testing" with the programmer. But when the busy work is done, the video game animator will finally get a chance to do what he or she does best... animate. Alex Drouin says the thing he liked best about his job was "being able to come there late in the morning, sit behind his computer, put on a great CD, and then create crazy animation that will end up in a game that will be seen all around the world by gamers." With a video game degree it is certainly possible!

4) Sound Designer

Sound designers are responsible for creating the music and sound effects of video games. Video game music is created either from digital sources or real-life stimulation. As video game consoles become more advanced, many sound designers favor the latter when deciding on what type of music they want in the games they are working on. Creating appropriate sound effects, on the other hand, sometimes requires more creative experimentation.

To be successful at designing video game sounds it is best to: 1) have an interest in both music and sound, 2) possess knowledge of recording equipment and 3) be familiar with the types of music and sound used in today's most popular video games. A video game degree will help develop these talents and skills.

5) Game Designer

Video game designers are responsible for creating the 'experience' of a particular game. Charles Perry, a video game designer, sums it up by saying "the main tasks of the designer is to make sure the game is fun."

Wells further adds that game designers are responsible for macro and micro level design. Macro level design involves "figuring out the core mechanics of the game; the variety of level looks, power-ups, etc." Micro-design involves creating the "actual levels and the moment-to-moment gameplay within those levels... the enemies, the objects, and the particular way you encounter those enemies and objects."

Good game designers should obviously have an interest in video games along with some drawing and programming skills.

Most of you lead a hectic lifestyle, one which is jam-packed with chores, errands, and last-minute shopping. With such a fast-paced life, it becomes difficult to even find time to rest or pamper yourself by visiting a day spa. This need for relaxation at home has given birth to the concept of home spa. One of the most essential requirements for a home spa is a personal massage bathtub where you can just bubble-up, steam, and soak yourself to relax in the privacy of your own home and at your own time.

The Great Private Escape

According to bathroom designers, the home spa is a few notches above the regular bathroom. The accessories used in a home spa, such as a shower, a bath tub etc are all more "evolved". For example, the bath tub in a home spa is extra long, extra deep, and comes with multiple jets or bubble. The shower has more than one shower head and additional fixtures that offer hydro-massage and cascading sensations. In all, the home spa is a great private escape that is not just luxurious but also unique and with your own individual aesthetics and artistic touches.

Imagine sinking into a warm and inviting bath in your personal massage bathtub after a particularly long, hard day's of work. Bliss! And with the jets massaging your neck, shoulders, and feet – don’t you feel like you are in heaven? Create a highly relaxing ambience by playing soft, soothing music in the background, a glass of wine in hand, and maybe a book before you settle in for a long massage bath. Life can’t get better than this my friends!

Create Your Own Private Retreat

Now, if you want your own private retreat, then you must add a home spa with a personal massage bathtub in your house. But let's just assume that you don’t want to go all out to spend money on a home spa. So what can you do to still get the similar benefits? Start by adding a personal massage bathtub to your master bathroom. But you must understand that making an addition can be a tad tricky, as you will need specialized fixtures and enough space with a beefed-up plumbing system.

Another way to make space for your personal massage bathtub can be to renovate or remodel your existing bathroom. There is an emerging trend where a wide cross-section of individuals who are opening up to the idea of creating their own private retreat; from single men and women to professional couples with lot of money to baby boomer couples to those with a jet-set lifestyle.

Well, even if you aren’t rolling in moolah, you can still enjoy some features of a home spa like we mentioned before. A greater number of manufacturers are now producing wider range of bathroom fittings that come with a competitive price tag. Perhaps that is why just about everyone is willing to invest in a home spa or at least a personal massage bathtub!

Choosing a Massage Bathtub to Soothe Your Aching Muscles

Golly, imagine the feeling of a masseur's hands gently kneading into your flesh and relieving you of the ache in your muscles. The feel of those hands whose calming powers are heaven-sent, work tirelessly to give your strained muscles a brand new life. But you know what; a masseur isn’t always required to get a massage. All you need to do is soak up in a massage bathtub and enjoy a luxurious and pampering massage.

Types of Massage Bathtubs

If you have been to a spa, you may have already experienced the benefits of bubbling water in a tub. A personal massage tub is no different. The massage tub comes fitted with jets or holes situated on the sides of the tub that propel the air or the water in the tub. There are just two types of massage bathtubs – air-jetted massage bathtubs and water-jetted massage bathtubs.

* Water-Jetted/Whirlpool Massage Bathtub

As the name suggests, water-jetted bathtubs have jets that propel the water through the opening in the sides of the tub to create a stronger massaging action that the air-jetted bathtubs. A big let down is the fact that you can’t use bubble baths, bath oils, bath salts etc in this version of the massage bathtub. Additionally, you’ll have to don your cleaning gloves to ensure that the tub is clean else the holes will get clogged.

Here’s a tip: Nowadays you can buy a whirlpool tub that comes with an inbuilt cleaning system. So keep your eyes open for these models.

* Air-Jetted Massage Bathtubs

Air-jetted bathtubs offer a gentler massaging effect than water-jets, as air is pushed and circulated by the jet system rather than water. But, with air-jetted bathtubs you can use bubble baths, bath salts, bath oils etc to make your warm soak a truly fun and relaxing experience.

Finally, base your decision to buy a personal massage bathtub and create your own home spa after careful consideration of all the bathtub options available. Don’t be impulsive and consider your budget and requirement. Also ensure that you do some research before investing in a bathtub whether you buy it in a store or online from a website.

So enjoy your new bathing experience and the joy of stepping into your very own home spa with a personal massage bathtub! Hurrah!

Movies related to Christmas help to create a fun atmosphere and can also

movie is good in showing the innocence of the Christmas season.

'A Christmas Carol,' written by noted author Charles Dickens, tells the

story of old Scrooge whose only purpose in life is to make money. Scrooge puts

making money above his family, friends and everyone who cares about him. His

The movie's lesson is about the importance of appreciating people in your life.

'It's A Wonderful Life' is a story about hope and the worthiness of

everyone. It tells the story of a man experiencing despair and self-destruction

because he thinks he is of no worth to those around him, and they would be

better off if he didn't exist. An angel grants him his desire and he gets to see

what he contributes and what life would be like without him.

Every Christmas, 'A Miracle on 34th Street' can be seen on television. It

and so he has to prove his identity claim.

'National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation' is about the Griswold family with

large house during the Christmas season. At first he was happy to be alone but

then two thieves break in and he has to fight them off. The movie shows the

importance of family and loved ones. A sequel, 'Home Alone 2: Lost in New York'

tells of the boy who was left alone going to an aunt and uncle's home and again

encountering the two thieves who are seeking revenge.

'How The Grinch Stole Christmas' was first made as an animation for

television but other versions have since been done as motion pictures. The

Grinch is a grouchy, green man who lives in the mountains above the small town

of Whoville where residents, called The Whos, celebrate Christmas

enthusiastically every year. The Grinch who doesn't like Christmas wants to

If you’ve been thinking of starting your own business for some time now, the easiest way to get started is to begin with a photography business checklist. This list will provide you with the details of what it takes to get started, and give you a something that makes the tasks seem more doable.

So, if you’re ready to move forward in photography, where do you start? What are the most important steps to consider when starting a photography business?

1. Start by defining the type of photography you choose to offer your clients. Everyone has a different reason for becoming involved in photography. Some love working with babies and children. Some prefer working on location with families and pets. Some love commercial work, and making products come alive. Some find passion in creating wedding photography.

While many photographers choose multiple specialties, keep in mind that any one of these can make a lucrative career. The more passion you have in your chosen line of photography, the easier it is to promote your work, and get known within your specialty.

2. Establish your business identity. Once you decide on your specialty, use that specialty to identify your name and your brand. While some photography studios are named after the business owner, others use a more generic name.

A name is a personal choice. But above all, make sure your name speaks to your desired clientele.

3. Decide what resources you need for your business. Do you need a commercial location for a studio? Will you work out of your home? What type of camera equipment will you need? While a start-up business shouldn’t invest in extravagant equipment, you should purchase enough equipment to sufficiently do your job, and to have backup equipment available at all sessions.

4. Decide what vendors you will be using for your business. A photography studio needs a variety of services, including a professional photography lab, album companies, framing companies, office supplies, and production supplies.

An easy way to find many of these vendors is to attend a photography expo. There are many local, regional, national and international expos available to the professional photographer, including Professional Photographers of America, and Wedding & Portrait Photographers International. And sign up for newsletters at places like VirtualPhotographyStudio.com to stay on top of some of the newest and most exciting trends.

5. Join professional organizations to network with like-minded individuals. There are a variety of professional photographer organizations. It’s also important to join organizations in your community, such as entrepreneur groups, networking groups, and chamber of commerce’s. All can provide you with invaluable resources.

6. Market your business to prospective clients. Every business needs customers to survive. Top priority for any new business is to bring in new clients not only to establish yourself as a business, but also to begin making a profit for your business.

7. Add your own goals to your photography business checklist. Provide specific goals that will help you realize your dream. Add things like ‘quit full time job in October’ to help motivate you to take action on your ideas.

Getting Your Prospects' Attention: Create A Character

When you are marketing and selling a product or service, it's key that you understand who you are talking to.

Keywords:

target audience, clients, marketing, marketing plan

Article Body:

When you are marketing and selling a product or service, it's key that you understand who you are talking to.

Who is your ideal customer?

Who has a problem that you, your product or service can solve?

Who would be most interested in your product or service?

Who is most likely to buy your product or service?

Once you identify who the best customer or ideal client is for your product or service, write a description of that person.

How old are they?

Are they male or female?

Where do they live?

What kind of work do they do?

What do they do for fun?

What is the problem your product or service can help them solve?

Are they affluent or is money tight?

You may not have all the answers to these questions, but do the best you can to write a detailed description.

Once you have completed the description, take it one step further: Create a character.

What exactly do I mean by that?

Picture in your mind, a single person who embodies all of these characteristics. Once you have a picture in your mind, begin to think about who this person is.

Here's an example

Let's say you are a wellness coach or fitness professional and your ideal client is a middle-aged, overweight woman who does not currently take very good care of herself, but wishes to drop a few pounds and get healthier.

First, here's a description

She is a woman between the ages of 35 and 50 years old; she's married with school-aged children; she works full- or part-time; leads a stressful, busy life trying to manage her family and work responsibilities; doesn't take very good care of herself because she's always caring for others; is 20-30 pounds overweight as a result; and doesn't eat very healthfully.

Now, here's how we create a character

First, we give her a name: Mary Smith

Then we imagine how her typical day goes, as follows:

Mary gets up at 6:00am and fixes breakfast for her two elementary school-aged children. She helps them get dressed and ready for school. She makes their lunches. She kisses her husband goodbye as he leaves for work, and proceeds to get ready for work herself.

Mary loads the kids in the car, drops them off at school, and heads to work. She works in a busy office, and rarely takes time off for lunch. Because she usually doesn't make time to pack her own lunch, she often runs out for fast food or another quick take-out lunch, and returns to the office to eat at her desk while she works.

At about 3:00pm, Mary needs a pick-me-up so she grabs a soda and a sugary snack from the vending machine.

Mary leaves the office at 5:30 and heads to the babysitter to pick up the kids. They arrive home between 6:30 and 7:00pm, tired and hungry.

Dinner is often fast food, frozen pizza or another quick meal, usually lacking in solid nutrition.

After dinner Mary helps the kids with their homework, gives them a bath and puts them to bed.

She sits down to relax in front of the TV with her husband around 9:00pm and has some ice cream f:00am to start this routine all over again.

Now, let me ask you a question

Do you feel like you know and understand your prospective client better based on the general description (age, family status, etc.) or based on the detailed 'character' description about Mary Smith and her typical day?

Which description would best enable you to create effective marketing messages?

Which description would enable you to select places to put your marketing messages to reach this ideal client?

If you're like most people, your answer is the detailed character description because it turns a generalized description of your ideal client into a person you can understand. A person who has very clear challenges and issues you can help solve.

Yes, you will be making some assumptions and generalities when you do this. That's okay. Just consider you are creating a character that represents the type of client you would like to reach with your marketing. This character is merely a representation.

Combine the character description with a photo

To further identify with your ideal client, you may even want to post this character description along with a photo cut-out from a magazine to represent him/her, as a reminder of who you are marketing to.

Creating a character brings your target audience to life

It allows you to market and speak to people. It enables you to create messages that touch those ideal clients and truly address the challenges they face in their daily lives. It allows you to see how you, your product or service fits into their lives as a solution to those problems.

It enables you to market more effectively

I challenge you to look at your target audience description and take it one step further and create a character. Then make sure all of your marketing is designed to speak to that person in language that resonates with them and helps them see you understand their issues or needs.

Try it. I think you'll find that your marketing becomes much more powerful and effective as a result.

In network marketing, substantial wealth is created only after you have achieved momentum. This momentum can be thought as very similar to the doubling effect of compound interest.

Compound interest is "Interest which is calculated not only on the initial principal but also the accumulated interest of prior periods." In the case of your network marketing efforts your initial principal is your initial effort. Your accumulated interest is that of your sponsors, who, with your proper coaching, carry on your efforts to effectively set your momentum in motion.

Your sponsors follow your lead by growing your downline and finding new sponsors who in turn do the same. This has surprising and remarkable results. This creates a doubling effect that once in place grows your business at a phenomenal rate. No longer can your efforts possibly keep pace with the actions of so many who all contribute to your own downline.

The momentum all starts by putting it in motion with your actions. Unfortunately, try asking up to 90% of the people who attempt network marketing how they are doing. You are more then likely to hear some negative replies. The reason is simple - they did not set things in motion.

Getting your network marketing business rolling is no mystery. It takes you and your positive dedication to move things forward. It also takes your planning. This is accomplished first by establishing your goals for your business. Determine what your ideal vision of the future would be, and move toward it with optimistic expectations.

The next step for realizing your network marketing success is mapping out your plan for success. This is where you determine the most effective use of your time and energy. Figure out what money if any, should be spent on your business marketing and expenses. Most importantly, set time aside to market your business each day.

A frequently overlooked step by many who attempt to succeed at network marketing is devoting time to you. Your continued education is vital to your success. Your newfound knowledge will enable you to adapt to changes, and focus on the things that really work.

Personal development will lead to the development of your sponsors, the key to your long term success. Your sponsors need a team leader who has high energy, is motivated and knowledgeable. It is important that you nurture your sponsors into an extension of you. Only then will your dream of network marketing momentum be fulfilled.

When talking to people about what they think is involved in marketing, CRM, ecommerce, direct marketing, web development, web design and graphic design it is quite clear that most people have a confused and jumbled view about what they all are, what they cover, which is most important and which is easiest to understand.

It is nearly always the case that someone understands what is meant by graphic design – not a surprise, perhaps, as it has been around the longest and has it’s roots in “old technology”. Not only that research has shown that only 7 to 11% of all communication is verbal, the rest being non-verbal as messages can be communicated through “graphical” factors such as gesture; body language or posture; facial expression and eye gaze, clothing, hairstyles, architecture, symbols and graphics. So definitely not a surprise – we are very visual.

It is nearly always the case that people also believe they understand what is meant by web design – though many people blur it with web development. Again, probably not surprising, but, actually, probably not helpful either. Why not? Because if you don’t have a real ‘definition’ for something (definition = clarity and differentiation from other concepts) then you don’t know what you are buying. And, guess what, if you don’t know what you are buying you can be “ripped off”.

So we thought we would be boringly helpful and using Wikipedia and a range of other sources definitions (only so we are not accused of slanting the evidence) try to explain what marketing, CRM, ecommerce, direct marketing, web development, web design and graphic design really are.

We also thought we’d arrange them in what we regard as their order of importance to the success of your business – which is pretty much in reverse order to most people’s understanding of what they are and see if anyone can be bothered to read what could be “possibly the most boring and convoluted article ever” and challenge these views.

1. MARKETING: The most widely accepted definition of marketing on a global scale comes from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) in the UK which is the largest marketing body in the world in terms of membership. The definition claims marketing to be the "management process of anticipating, identifying and satisfying customer requirements profitably". Thus, operative marketing involves the processes of market research, new product development, product life cycle management, pricing, channel management as well as promotion……… It is one of the company's management tools to ensure that products and services are developed according to market requirements, and that they are profitable.

2. CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT (CRM) includes the methodologies, technology and capabilities that help an enterprise manage customer relationships. The general purpose of CRM is to enable organizations to better manage their customers through the introduction of reliable systems, processes and procedures. Customer Relationship Management is a corporate level strategy which focuses on creating and maintaining lasting relationships with its customers. Although there are several commercial CRM software packages on the market which support CRM strategy, it is not a technology itself, rather, an holistic change in an organization's philosophy which places emphasis on the customer………. A successful CRM strategy cannot be implemented by simply installing and integrating a software package and will not happen over night. Changes must occur at all levels including policies and processes, front of house customer service, employee training, marketing, systems and information management; all aspects of the business must be reshaped to be customer driven.

3. ELECTRONIC COMMERCE, EC, e-commerce or ecommerce consists primarily of the distributing, buying, selling, marketing, and servicing of products or services over electronic systems such as the Internet and other computer networks.......... It can involve electronic funds transfer, supply chain management, e-marketing, online marketing, online transaction processing, electronic data interchange, automated inventory management systems, and automated data-collection systems. It typically uses electronic communications technology such as the Internet, extranets, e-mail, ebooks, databases, and mobile phones………. Internet marketing is a component of electronic commerce. Internet marketing can include information management, public relations, customer service, and sales.

4. DIRECT MARKETING is a discipline within marketing that involves the planned recording, analysis and tracking of individual customers' (business-to-business or consumer) responses and transactions for the purpose of developing and prolonging mutually profitable customer relationships………. DM uses non-addressable media as well as addressable ones. The important thing is that it seeks a response and it is this which the recipient, usually a marketer, bases their future actions, or contact strategy, on. In fact all DM is done through media, it's just that many, e.g. email, telemarketing, SMS, are "addressable". It usually is not taken to include face-to-face contact. Direct marketing is attractive to many marketers, because in many cases its effectiveness can be measured directly.

5. WEB DEVELOPMENT incorporates all areas of creating a web site for the World Wide Web. This includes web design (graphic design, XHTML, CSS, usability and semantics), programming, server administration, content management, marketing, testing and deployment. The term also refers to the "back end", that is, programming and server administration. There is usually more than one member that works on a given development team, each specialising in his or her own field. A web developer typically has more database, cgi, and engineering experience and develops the interface between the front and back end, undertaking programming tasks for a web site. This can include e-commerce applications or implementing a site search tool, for example.

6. WEB DESIGN is the design of web pages, websites and web applications using HTML, CSS and images. A web designer designs web pages. Usually a designer will produce a mock-up of a page in a graphics application (for example, Adobe Photoshop). Once you have approved the design, a designer can produce an HTML template, CSS files and all of the images needed to produce the web site.

7. GRAPHIC DESIGN is the applied art of arranging image and text to communicate a message. You can apply it in any media, such as print, digital media, motion pictures, animation, product decoration, packaging, and signs.

When you think about marketing, chances are pretty good that cartoons and talking animals aren’t the first thing to pop into your mind. You’re probably processing numbers, identifying markets, and looking for ways to cut costs.

Maybe it’s time to get your nose off the grindstone and have a little fun. Why? Creativity plays an important role in marketing, and sometimes we need to take the time to get our creative juices flowing.

Don’t believe it? Take a close look at Disney. Now that’s a perfect sample of creativity and marketing going hand-in-hand! Walt Disney… a dreamer who put magic into his marketing.

Creativity can take on several different “personas”…

1. The Explorer
The explorer seeks out bits of interesting and new information like a sponge. Curiosity keeps him hunting for the unknown and ready to plunge into brand new experiences.

2. The Dreamer
A wild imagination is the best friend of a true dreamer. Nothing is impossible in the world of imagination.

3. The Artist
An artist is able to take a variety of bits and pieces, mix them all together and come up with a collage that entrances the mind.

Before you set this article aside and get back into the daily grind, let’s think of what all of this could mean to your marketing campaign.

Creativity may…

1. Add pizzas to your flyers
2. Spark a brand new idea for a product/service to market
3. Bring to light a brand new way to market your current product/service
4. Give color to your ads
5. Expose a new way to beat out the competition

Hey, any one of those are great boosters for a marketing campaign. The trouble is that sometimes we feel that everyone is creative, but we’re just an unimaginative lump of clay destined to plod through life.

Not so! Everyone has an imagination. Sometimes it just needs to be oiled up a little bit to get it loosened up. How long has it been since you put your imagination to work?

You can give your creativity a leg up by…

1. Watching a sunrise or sunset
2. Organizing a party
3. Smelling a flower

Hah! You thought I’d have some extravagant exercises all laid out for you, didn’t you? Relax, there’s no secret key to being successfully creative. Creativity comes in all sizes, shapes and colors. There’s no right or wrong way to be creative.

The biggest hurdle most people face is the “I’m just not creative” cop out. Sure they’re creative. In fact, if I asked, they could create quite a long list of the reasons they aren’t creative.

Research has shown that this biggest difference between “creative” and “non-creative” people is that “creative” people believe they are creative and “noncreative” people don’t believe they are creative. It’s as simple as that.

Every marketer gets stale after a while, if they don’t find refreshing and new ideas to incorporate into their work. If your marketing has lost its pizzazz or seem to be in the dumps, simply take a little time to stimulate your creativity and just see what happens.

Individual objections and objectives are bypassed in the collective drive to do what must be done. This is where recognition awards take its importance. High group morale can enrich individual motivation and performance remarkably!

I. Planned Awards:

1. Recognition Awards

On its basic concept, recognition awards are effective ways of increasing and boosting a person’s morale. It encourages them to accept of and have a desire for change at all times. The change they will make is not entirely for the advantage of the company but to his or her own personal achievement as well. Basically, the common recognition awards given to an employee are based on the three categories of recognition. These can be planned, immediate, or formal. If a recognition award is set on a formal approach, the award should focus more on the employee’s exceptional contribution to the organization for a given year. Some of the examples of formal recognition awards are:

2. Employee Service Award

This may refer to the remarkable service extended out by an employee. This means that he or she had taken responsibility of not only doing their assigned task but were able to complete other work that made the entire organization benefit from it.

3. Customer Relations Employee Awards

This is to recognize people who constantly make effort in reaching out to the company’s most important asset the customers. And by merely providing them with exceptional customer service is good enough in such a way that the company is too grateful to just take it for granted.

4. Retiree Recognition Award

This goes out to employees who gave almost half of their life serving the company, providing exceptional service, and undivided loyalty throughout the service period. On the other hand, if the recognition award is planned, meaning giving out these kinds of recognition awards are pre-set and the frequency of conducting them is on a routine basis, then it should be focused on simply recognizing an employees simple yet notable achievements or manifests a good area for advancement.

5. Employee of the Month

This is given to employees who where noted to have done outstanding performance in a given month. This type of recognition award usually boosts the person’s morale in terms of emotional satisfaction and personal fulfilment. This, in turn, encourages and motivates them that if their colleague was able to achieve it, so can they.

6. Best in Attendance

In order to motivate people to come to work on time and avoid habitual absences, this type of recognition award should be given. This, in turn, reflects the company’s value for the employee’s presence, that a day or even a fraction of missed work is detrimental to the entire organization’s development.

7. Best in Customer Service

This type of recognition award is given to those who have exceptionally rendered customer service to their clients, thereby, motivating more people to opt for their services because of the kind of satisfaction they will get from the organization’s staff. In many cases, it is usually the customer service that keeps people from coming back to the company. And so, if carried out well by an employee, it is just right to acknowledge it. And last, if the recognition is based on immediate recognition, the recognition awards should reflect the urgent need to take note of a person’s commendable completion of a given task, in which, when done by anyone else may not have resulted as well.

II. Unplanned Awards:

1. Teamwork Effort

This type of recognition award is given to a group whose outstanding performance had contributed to the company’s growth.

2. A special project award

This refers to the immediate completion of a special project which reaped good results. This recognition award is effective in motivating people that the earlier they complete their work at the same time maintain the quality of output, they will be rewarded.

3. A simple employee appreciation

This type of recognition award is a simple way of uplifting the confidence and drive of the employee to continue and keep up the good work. The bottom line is that, if a company knows how to take car of its people by giving recognition award, the employees will take good care of the company in return.

From: Monthly Income Stream

Everybody would love to make lots of money quickly, working from home, and only doing a few hours of work per week. I've spent the past two years trying to find a great way of doing this. Only over the course of the past few months have I found any "get rich quick" programs worth buying. I've been trying to make money online for a long time. I had a few small websites, but they never made much more than a few hundred per month. It was easy money and didn't require much work on my part, but I knew there were people out there doing better than I was and I knew I could do as well as them.

Now, I've seen a lot of "get rich quick" programs. Most of these people make claims about earning $2000/day with Google or something similarly insane. Almost all of these people are complete liars. Even if they were making $2000/day with Google AdSense, it'd be because they had high- traffic websites with a lot of quality content. I'd know, because in one whole month, I never even made half of what they promised I'd make daily with their programs. Maybe you've already been scammed by one of these fraudsters. Anyway, I finally got sick of what was being offered.

I decided I'd look through the all of the "get rich quick" programs I could find and see if there were any that were actually legitimate. I found that there were owners selling their programs for well over $100, but the information in them could be found almost anywhere online for free. Additionally, they all contained out-of-date information, had no e-mail support, no money back guarantees, and broken links in the downloads section.

In conclusion, almost all of the programs I found were completely useless. The owners knew it, but they couldn't care less about their customers since they didn't offer refund policies! Amazingly, while looking through all of the programs, I actually did find a few legitimate programs. They were run by ordinary people like you and me, and they had found some great methods of making money from their home by doing very little work.

I spent some time working with those programs, and my income is now ten times what it used to be. These programs provided a large amount of great information on how to make extra money on your computer doing very little work. Numerous customers had provided great feedback and reviews for their products. Many of them have started to make money just days after buying!

Create Your Own Work At Home Job

Securing a work at home job can take a lot of time, patience, and persistence. Unfortunately, by the time most people begin searching for a job to do at home, they are already in a severe financial bind and need to begin earning right away. That's just not realistic with most work at home jobs and businesses. However, it is very possible to begin earning some income almost immediately by using your existing skills and abilities.

The first step is to figure out exactly what your skills are. Don't say you don't have any. Everyone has things they are good at. ;-) Whether your skills have been learned in a job or everyday life doesn't matter. What type of work have you done in the past? Are you good with accounting, clerical work, filing, typing? Look at your hobbies and interests also. Can you design web pages, take great photographs, sew, knit? Do you love children or animals? Are you a great organizer or cleaner? Do you love to shop? Write down all of your skills, abilities, and interests.

Once you know what you can do, figure out a way to use those skills to earn some money. Get creative! Think in terms of products or services. What products or services can you provide that others will find value in? Big hint: people are always looking for ways to save time, save money, or improve their quality of life. Can you help them do that?

Here are some examples of ways you could use your skills: shopping, cleaning, organizing, party planning, childcare, pet-sitting/dog-walking, taking pets to veterinary appointments, errand service for Moms or elderly, assisting small businesses in your area with clerical work, painting (both interior and exterior), junk removal, yardwork, taking photographs at special events or tourist attractions, making and selling craft items at fairs or flea markets, designing websites for small local businesses, catering or cooking.

That's just the tip of the iceburg, but you get the idea. Once you have some ideas for possible businesses you could do, find out what legal requirements you'd have for starting a business like that in your home. Call your Town Clerk's office and your state's Dept. of Revenue to find out what paperwork or licenses you'd need to get started.

Then research the going rates for the work you're considering. If you're really not sure how much to charge, consider how much you'd like to earn per hour, and ask yourself whether most people would be willing to pay that or not. You don't want to under-charge and make it not worth your while, but you also don't want to charge ridiculous rates that people wouldn't pay. Your rate per hour will vary depending on the type of work you're doing, but in a general sense, try to keep your rates reasonable while still paying yourself what you're worth.

Then you can start marketing. Marketing does not have to be expensive. Make up some flyers yourself or have a print shop do it, and begin posting them on public bulletin boards. You can also pay for an inexpensive classified ad in your local newspaper. You might need to invest a little money to get started, but there is no need to spend hundreds of dollars. Start small. Once you begin building a client base you can always pay for more advertising. You can also have some business cards made up (or make your own) to pass out to potential clients. Don't be afraid to approach your target market directly, either! If you want to provide a service to small local businesses, go in and introduce yourself. Tell them who you are and what you do. Leave a flyer with them. Don't sit home waiting for the phone to ring, get out there and make it happen.

Guess what? You're in business! Even if this isn't what you want to continue doing forever, that's okay. You can still continue searching for jobs or researching home businesses that will more closely match what your career vision is. In the meantime, at least you will be earning some money to reduce the financial pressure in your household.

They are phrases like create an online business site web, business online small web, business online page, business, online site web, web hosting for online business and online web site business opportunity just to mention a few.

Recently I wrote several articles, one about specific landing pages, another about matching keywords to specific landing pages and the last one was on keyword pricing. This time I am going to cover a few easy ways to monitor your campaigns so that you ensure you are accomplishing what you set out to do. Otherwise you will not bear the fruits of your efforts.

As I mentioned in my other articles you should ensure that you have a different landing page on your site for each area of you business. For example on my site I have a landing page for Work At Home, Top 10 business, Home Based Business, Moms Jobs, Affiliates, Data Entry, Online Paid Surveys and a link to my real time newsletter.

When utilizing one of the tools available to us called (PPC) Paid Per Click Advertising, whereby we pay a search engine pennies to show our ad when someone types in particular keyword. As I mentioned in my other article you must break up your keywords in such a manner as to have all of your keywords on a given topic sent to the specific landing page. For example you should have all Work At Home keywords go to your landing page, which is mostly about Work At Home ideas. Like wise have you keywords on Home Based Business go to the landing page that highlights Home Based Business Opportunities.

In addition you don't want to bidding against your self so you want to make sure that you don't mix and match your keywords. You will want to advertise only the keywords that match a specific landing page when using (PPC) Paid Per Click Advertising. Don't have Work At Home keywords mixed in with Online Paid Surveys sending people to multiple landing Pages.

You will want to use multiple variation of a given keyword. Think about the conversation going on in your customer's head. What would you type in if you were searching for the same thing? What would others type? Don't just set you campaigns to run on a maximum price per click. Do some research to see how much a particular keyword is being searched for. This will help you set your keyword pricing.

So that you may ensure that your efforts are working you can monitor your campaigns on each search engine. Each search engine should have a reports page, whereby you can look up keywords for the day and it will show you what landing page your potential customer was sent to. If they clicked on the keyword Home Based Business and they were sent to your Work At Home page instead of your Home Based Business page then you know modifications are required. This will show that you must have home based business set as a keyword in you work at home campaign in addition to or instead of your Home Base Business campaign. You will either have to delete it and add it to your Home Based Business Campaign or move it there depending on the search engine.

Another tool you can use is to add a free counter to your page. There are many online that track urls so that not only can you see the ip address, time, landing page, length of time on your site, but many times it will show you the keyword searched for as well. It will help you see what needs to me modified on an ongoing basis.

Every subtle change in your website landing page, keywords, keyword bidding, no matter how minuscule, has an effect on your customer. I always recommend change, monitor, analyze, modify and keep continuing the process. Compare the new change to the old one so that you can see which landing page converts best.

Please feel free to read more of this article by visiting my link in the resource box below. I always enjoy getting emails pertaining to my articles or my site. Your feedback is important to me.

Create Your Own Shopping Mall and Work from Home

Because the amount of money consumers spend online is at an all-time high, one of the best businesses you can launch is an online shopping mall.

Keywords:

Article Body:

There's no disputing that the Internet has enabled hundreds of thousands of people to launch their own home based business. And, with the economy on the brink of recession, more people than ever before are looking for ways to supplement their existing income, to recover from a job loss, or to hedge against uncertain times. An Internet home based business offers a multitude of benefits. You can make your own hours, so you can work while the kids are in school or after they've gone to bed at night. You can avoid the time wasted by a daily commute and don't have to pour money into your gas tank going to and from work everyday. Best of all, you don't have to answer to a boss, because you are the boss!

Because the amount of money consumers spend online is at an all-time high, one of the best businesses you can launch is an online shopping mall. While this seems counterintuitive - after all, where are you going to store all of the inventory? - many people are finding extraordinary success in selling online.

What's the secret? It's actually pretty simple. You just need to find a supplier who will give you access to products that you can sell online, and then who will do the shipping for you. In other words, you don't have to stock inventory, you don't have to deal with packaging and shipping; you just need to sell the products. Ideally, the company you partner with should have 200,000 or more products from which you can choose. When you have access to that kind of inventory, you can become an eBay power seller or a star Amazon trader in no time at all.

When you're looking for a company with which to partner, find one that has at least three different plans. One might be an auction plan, with a one-time set up charge and no monthly fees. You should have access to low wholesale prices and all of the company's products, with no minimum order.

Another option might be a website plan where you get your own website pre-loaded with all of the products, where you can customize your website, and where no merchant account is required. A third option might be a website and auction plan where you can have the best of both worlds, and where you get a free domain and a free email account.

Beyond the plan options, you should look for a company with no monthly fees, that offers free order fulfillment, and that will dropship every product you sell directly to your customer. In other words, you should be able to have a turnkey shopping mall that you can administer from home. All you need is a computer.

As for the types of products you sell, there are virtually no limits. The best partnering companies offer hundreds of thousands of products in categories like apparel, computers, electronics, health and beauty, home and garden, jewelry, toys and games, and so forth. Typically, an online shopping mall that offers a wide variety of products is more successful than one that offers a small selection.

Starting a home based business can be incredibly satisfying, as well as financially rewarding. The secret lies in partnering with the right company.

Cold Calls - A New Way to Open - Cold Calling Tips to Create Openings for Real Conversation!

Most of us design our cold calling around scripts and strategies. Isn’t that how we’ve been taught by the sales gurus? Scripts are linear and systematic so you can move calls in the direction you want them to go. Sales strategies do the exact same thing.

Most of us design our cold calling around scripts and strategies. Isn’t that how we’ve been taught by the sales gurus? Scripts are linear and systematic so you can move calls in the direction you want them to go. Sales strategies do the exact same thing.

That’s why as soon as we make a cold call, the other person knows right away that our agenda is not to have a conversation, but to make a sale. There’s something about scripts and sales strategies -- it always shows. We’re not being natural, and other people can sense within the first few seconds that we’re out to make a sale. Once that happens, potential clients are immediately put on the defensive. They don’t want to be maneuvered into a sale. As soon as they recognize that you’re a salesperson with a sales agenda, most of the time they just want you to go away.

I call this "The Wall." It goes something like this: "Uh-oh, another salesperson. I'm about to be sold something. How fast can I get this person off the phone?" In other words, it’s over at "Hello." Hence, the moment you use the old cold calling approach, which is using sales scripts and strategies, you’ve triggered the negative "salesperson" stereotype in the mind of the person you’ve called. That almost always means immediate rejection.

The problem is with how you're selling, not what you're selling. The traditional cold calling approach, which has been taught by the sales gurus for years, involves immediately giving a pitch about who you are and what you have to offer. However, this is a one-sided conversation. In our normal lives, it would seem self-absorbed to start any conversation by talking only about ourselves. Yet, in cold calling we expect ourselves to do exactly that. We begin with a monologue rather than inviting a dialogue.

On top of that, we’ve all been trained to try to push prospects into a "yes" response somewhere within the first call. This creates sales pressure. Pressure from a stranger is never welcome. It feels intrusive to the other person.

The first step to overcoming this is to let go of your script or sales strategy as a crutch. This idea may sound scary at first because you’ve been programmed to think you have to have a script or strategy to make a successful cold call. I assure you that quite the opposite is true.

These old approaches create a "box" that doesn’t allow a conversation to flow. You’re thinking only about your agenda and following "the plan." The person on the other end of the phone senses this, and immediately begins to retreat.

Instead, start thinking about language that will engage people rather than language that will trigger rejection. If you can start a conversation that triggers a "What do you mean?" from the other person, you’ll find you can explain yourself in a natural way. This also creates a two-way dialogue, which lets you flow with the conversation without feeling you’re getting off-track.

Developing a problem statement makes this whole process much easier. Find out what issue or problem your potential client is likely to be experiencing, and build an open-ended conversation around that.

Here are three basic steps to opening up a dialogue and having a real conversation with your cold calls:

1. Begin with the question, "Maybe you can help me out for a moment?" The reply is almost always something like, "Sure, how can I help you?"

2. Continue with something like, "I’m just calling to see if your company is still having issues with unpaid invoices." The response probably will be, "Well, yeah, we are. Who’s this?"

3. You can then respond in a very relaxed tone, "This is John. I’m with XYZ Collection Agency. I’m just calling to see if you’d be open to some new ideas on how to better solve that problem." This makes it easy for the other person to reply, "What do you mean?" or "Tell me more." After that, the possibilities of your conversation are endless. Try these new cold calling ideas. You will be amazed at how much value you receive, both personally and professionally.

Create More Sale Opportunities with Two Simple Ideas

If you are in sales you know one of the most challenging aspects of what you do is getting in front of prospects. Prospects and clients are bombarded constantly with items that promote, market, or advertise what people do.

If you are in sales you know one of the most challenging aspects of what you do is getting in front of prospects. Prospects and clients are bombarded constantly with items that promote, market, or advertise what people do. So we sell, buy, receive, file, or throw away items that we’re just not sure what to do with. Millions of dollars in advertising and promotions end up in the trash, completely ineffective and wasted.

The question becomes: How do you keep your promotional advertising and unique marketing items out of the trash and on the desk? The answer is simple: use creative and appropriate methods to get recognized.

Sales is really about the ability to think quickly, be flexible, creative and innovation. Regardless of what some people may believe, marketing is a huge part of the sales process. If you want to stand apart from the competition, you need to do more than sell products. You need to know how to get your foot in the door. To get your foot in the door you have to market. However, it also means making sure you have the right door and a plan for keeping your foot there.

Selling is also about taking stock of your market, your prospective customer, and yourself before you even go a-knocking. It is about knowing you are doing the right thing for the right reasons.

Selling is truly an art. It is not just about getting the business. It is knowing you are making a difference in the lives of others with the product or service you provide. It is being of service to others, loving what you do and having fun while you do it.

Following are two fun ideas from the book, “101 Ways to Get Your Foot in the Door.”

Growing Solutions
A lot of selling is about assisting prospects during periods of growth.

The gift of a live plant is a great way to get your foot in the door. Most everyone appreciates plants. They bring life into a dull space and provide beauty as well. You’d be hard pushed to find a prospect who will deep-six your gift of a plant.

You can play on the words “growth” and “growing” while sending a gift that will stay in the office and on the prospect’s desk.

Along with your card include a note that reads:

-We are interested in helping during this rapid period of growth.
-Is your business growing to the point that you need our service?
-We’d love to help you grow.
-Instructions for growth: Water once a day and call us at ______.
-Congratulations on your growth.”

Don’t be stingy if you’re going to do this. Buy a big healthy plant and have it professionally potted and delivered. The presentation and delivery are as important as the clever play on words.

New Company in Town
A great way to get your foot in the door is to be helpful long before you knock on it. When a new company hits town send them a “My Favorites” list that refers them to the best people, places, and professionals in town.

Make sure these are reputable companies and individuals who offer quality products and services. If there is a specific contact, include that person’s name and number.

A - My Favorites - list could include:
-Chambers of Commerce
-Conference centers
-Consultants
-Florist
-Local associations and contact numbers
-Local printer
-Media contacts
-Restaurants (think about including a take-out menu)
-Office supply store
-Places of interest
-Travel agents

Remember to include yourself and your services!

Once they receive your list, follow up and ask if you can be of assistance in any way. The Law of Reciprocity is a strong one!

The ideas for getting your foot in the door are endless. Again, all it takes is making sure you have the right door, you are appropriately creative, you believe in your product or service, and you are willing to take a risk.

Article Body:

Whether decorating your home or business, ancient art replicas will bring any room to life. Art replicas are works of art or statues that have been re-created to closely match an original artwork. These might be statues of FooDogs, Christian art wall plaques, or famous paintings. There are statues from Buddhist art, Greek art, and many other themes to create the atmosphere you want.

Complement Your Furnishings and Colors

Ancient art replicas look their best when blended with other decorative items in a room. In your living room, for instance, use replicas of paintings or wall plaques that match or complement your living room furnishings. Lamps, tables, wall colors, and furniture color patterns should be considered. You can fill an empty corner in the room with a lovely statue replica. You can place statues beside a floor lamp or near the edges of furniture pieces. Or, accentuate your fireplace with an ancient art wall plaque of Christian art or Greek art.

In the kitchen, add lively ancient art replicas to match the theme and colors of your kitchen. You can hang wall plaques of ancient art along with kitchen wall plates, clocks, or other decorative wall items. You might also use a small statue replica with some greenery along the tops of your cabinets.

In the bathroom, a small statue replica can be used to decorate a towel shelf, the toilet tank, or a large sink. Ancient art replicas of paintings and wall plaques also make great pieces for bathroom wall decor. Wherever you place your ancient art replicas, be sure to add lamps, mirrors, flowers, wall sconces, and other decorative pieces to draw attention to your works of art. And in any room, statue replicas make terrific doorstops!

Choosing a Decor Theme

Before buying ancient art replicas, it's a good idea to choose one particular theme so your decor will remain similar throughout your home or business. There are many themes from ancient times such as Egyptian art, Christian art, Greek art, and Buddhist art. Each theme will offer a variety of statues, wall plaques, and paintings so you can easily find replicas to match your decor. In Christian art, there are replicas of Byzantine crosses, statues of the Archangels Michael, Gabriel, or Raphael, Celtic crosses, Mother Mary, and many others.

In Buddhist art, you can find unique Buddha statue replicas such as the Head of Buddha, Buddha with 108 Disciples, Buddha Maitreya, and many others. In Classic Greek art, you might want a Greek Sphinx statue, a Greek geometric vase, or a Greek Classic wall plate. Whatever theme you choose, you'll be able to bring that period of time to life in every room with ancient replicas.

Outdoor Decor

Want to add a touch of elegance to your garden, patio, or business entrance? Ancient art replicas of statues might do the trick. You can guard your home or business entrance with ancient Chinese FooDogs or capture scenes from Greek mythology with Greek statue replicas. Statues can be used to decorate walk paths, patios, porches, and flower gardens. They blend wonderfully with garden fountains, shrubs, and birdbaths. You can also use statue replicas to decorate a religious establishment or educational facility. Statues often invoke a sense of stability and strength or deep religious meaning.

Buying Ancient Art Replicas

You can find ancient art replicas in your local area or on the Internet. When shopping online, look for high quality replicas that are handcrafted or hand-painted. Also, check with specialty websites to find specific items to match your decor. With specialty sites, you'll be able to buy Greek art replicas affordably. Why does your business need a business card?

Article Body:

Business card is a powerful piece of card handed out to your clients or given to you by someone which has all that information in such a small space. Business cards are an important part of any business and that gives a first impression of your business to anyone. So customize the card in such a way to make a good impression about it to others.

Create a business card that conveys a sense that you are by your name, name of the business, description of your business and other contact information so that they remember you.

Design steps of a effective business card:- First of all you should be aware of what would you like to have on the business card to convey others about you. You want to focus on the identity of your business right. So you need your name, business logo, email ID, web & postal address and finally the telephone no on it.

Second step is the look of the card – Go around with the cards in your collection which was handed over to you by your friends, relative, clients even strangers and have a good idea which impress you the most. I don’t say to clone it or borrow their idea but keep in mind which one stand out and which concept will suit you best.

The third and final step is the style – once you got an idea what you want. Work on the style of your business card for example if you are running a funeral home and having flashy picture on your card it won’t convey a good impression. The basic example is to have a simple designed one with information about you and your business is clear and prominent.

Your business card should have the same color and design of what you have on your other marketing materials like, brochure, stationery website. Utilize the space of your card cleverly and display your information which is essential and not any unwanted information which send out a wrong message.

A business card can do more than to improve your business it can also serve as a reminder of an appointment also a direction to your work place. So the key to a successful business card design is sensible design and what you convey on the card.
