I decided however that it was time to, hopefully, PREVENT A LOT OF NEWCOMERS in the online business (marketing, sales, ebooks etc.) FROM MAKING the same MISTAKES I made. Don't get freightend now!! Therefore, what you will discover in this article, are TIPS which will help you to stay away from spending an awful lot of time and money with zero results.It will also put you on the right track to personal satisfaction in whichever field online. The first thing you should always keep in mind when
you start, THINK BEFORE YOU ACT AND AFTER YOU HAVE DONE THE THINKING, THINK AGAIN!! Sounds strange I know, it will get clear to you when you continue reading. Included in this thinking process should be your input timewise. To create a descent income you will need time and patience, when you would invest let's say 10 hours a week it will certainly take you a few years before real success comes your way (Obviously this depends on how you measure real succes). This remark has probably scared off the easy money seekers but it is best to be honest.

There is a major number of players out there who are capable of talking money out of your pocket with golden promises and easy money stories. Don't act on it.

IF IT SEEMS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT WILL BE TO GOOD TO BE TRUE!!

When you are ready to start, start investigating what you need. Join affiliate programs where they will provide you with a website. Now,this might get a bit complicated!! Everybody wants you to join their programm and when you do join, then you will be overwhelmed with all the information which they will throw at you. Affiliate programms are a great source of income, but you should always take your time to look further in to the programm before you join. How long do they exist, ask for names of affilates whom you can contact, ask any possible question you can think of at your future sponsor (Upline), and join forums to seek info. Use a searchengine and just search for home business forums. Here you can join any forum you want.

Tip #3
After you have joined the affiliateprogramm of your choice don't get in to spending money before you know what you are actually doing. AGAIN, THINK BEFORE YOU ACT. They will provide you with all sorts of tools to promote your business, try the free one's first to get to grips with the actual business you're in.

Tip #4
Searchengines. We all know about them and we probably al know what they can mean towards getting visitors to your site. There is only one problem, just take any searchengine and do a search. For example: home business. I just did and there where 2.380.000.000 entries. There is NO WAY you will be on the first three pages within a long time. Obviously you can use Google ads or Overture to buy searchword targeted advertisement, there is only a small problem there. You probably will get visitors, but will they join your programm or buy your products?? The chances are small because you need to warm up your prospects first. With other words start PRESELLING!!

Get a descent linkprogramm. There are several available for free on the web. Just search for free linkmanager on any searchengine. These programs will help you to track your links and see if other sites are still linking back to your site. Better start learning the basics of HTML. There will be many new things coming your way, and one of them is the earlier mentioned websites. Since
your future income is totally depending on referrals and new sign ups (members in your downline) your affiliateprogramm will most likely provide you with promotional tools like banners, buttons, links, webpages and more and more. Now the trick of these tools is that they have your personal code
written into it. You better check every single time if it is your referral code. Because the only way to track the referrer when someone signes up, or buys
a product is through this code. Imagine, you promoting your website like crazy with al these tools, and in the mean time it might have someone else
his code inside!! YOUR LOSE, THEIR GAIN.
Didn't I mention earlier that you want to make sure you join a descent affiliate programm and that their are plenty of storytellers out there? This is
just one possible scenario you want to watch out for. Therefore, get at least a basic understanding of HTML coding.

PLAN AHEAD EVERY TIME, AND I MEAN EVERY TIME, stay focused when you step behind your computer to work towards your future. I mentioned the word preselling before. Every succesful person on the internet knows what this means. As soon as you get on the net, you will be pulled in to a certain direction. You won't notice but let's say you where to search for something, you will start on one page and before you know it, you will be reading material or you'll be visiting webpages with no connection anymore to what you where searching for. that's called preselling. The best internetguru's probably think fifty steps ahead of you and start pulling you in from the beginning. That is why you want to plan ahead over and over again.

DON'T LET OTHERS WAIST YOUR VALUABLE TIME.

Who were the winners? The brokerage houses.

SIX TIPS FOR THINKING ON YOUR FEET

1. Trust yourself and others. Learn to go with your gut and trust your ideas. Take this advice from Improvisational Comedians, “If you feel your feet moving – follow them!” Do the same for your work colleagues.

2. Develop a “yes, and…” mentality. Don’t negate or deny ideas. Get rid of “yes, but …” Accept the information that comes to you and work with it.

3. Be in the moment. Remember to listen, watch and concentrate. You have to pay attention! Don’t worry about past failures or attempts at thinking on your feet – think in present-tense only.

4. Accept new ideas without judgement. See where the new idea takes you.

6. Work to the top of your intelligence. Challenge yourself to see what you can discover. Try not to create a box that isn’t there.

Thinking on your feet is child’s play. Literally. Next time you are around children watch how they take in new information and move quickly to make changes to what they are doing. They are all mini-experts at thinking on their feet.

Do You Have What It Takes To Become A Model?

When you think of the word "model", images of men and women with perfect complexions, incredible bodies and wonderful wardrobes are probably the first things to come to mind. But modeling is much more than that and the need for "non-traditional" models is probably more prevalent than you imagine. If you consider advertising, media and books that use photos of real people and places, you can see that you don't have to be a perfectly-proportioned person with a flawless look to find modeling opportunities. That gives rise to the question, "Do you have what it takes to be a model?"

If you're interested in modeling but you need experience, you should likely begin your search locally. Every city that has an advertising company probably needs models. In the larger cities where magazines and other media are produced and printed, you'll also find a need for people willing to model. Almost every catalog, flyer and circular that arrives in your mailbox includes photos of at least a few people who were willing to model for that publication. The opportunities are out there but you have to be willing to go after them.

Consider the local advertising agency. Especially if you're talking about an agency in a smaller city with limited financial resources, the search for quality models is continuous. They need people willing to model with and be spokesperson for area businesses that are intent on producing commercials with local faces.

Magazines are also a good source of modeling opportunities. For example, a magazine accepts a story from a freelance writer about mothers to be printed in the Mother's Day edition. Stories are always more appealing if there is art to catch the reader's eye and the magazine begins its search for appropriate models for this story. They don't need a cover girl - they need a mother (or at least a woman who can look like one).

Think you don't have the figure for modeling? Catalogs are another good source of modeling opportunities. Apparel companies don't just sell clothing for the men and women with perfect bodies. The fact that not every woman is a "perfect size six" means that not all clothing offered will be a size six. What better way to entice the smaller than normal woman (or those larger than normal) to choose a particular product than by showing how it looks on other small or large women? This creates an excellent opportunity for those who will never fit into a size six dress to give modeling a try.

If you are fortunate enough to have the perfect body, complexion and look for traditional modeling, you still might need to start with the less-traditional modeling jobs. No matter what kind of modeling you want to do, remember that it boils down to hard work in sometimes less-than-ideal conditions. Catalogs, magazines and advertisers will do photo shoots well ahead of the season. That means that you could find yourself modeling swimsuits on the beach while it's still too cold to be on the beach, or wrapped up in ski gear in front of a crackling fire in mid-summer. But if modeling truly appeals to you, you might just find that you do have what it takes to become a model.

Has honesty become a thing of the past? Many people are asking themselves this question as they scour the net for what they need.

As the low economy in the United States takes its toll on many, people are constantly looking for alternative ways to solve their dilemma, including the internet.

In a frantic search to find the ultimate solution, they spend their hard-earned money on “Get Rich Schemes” only to find out that the bargain they hoped for wasn’t a bargain at all.

With crushed hopes, dreams, and an empty wallet many people retaliate. Some may pass it off by learning negative things such as not trusting anyone else… possibly for the rest of their lives. Others quit buying altogether. While still others, run and tell there friends they got ripped-off and by whom causing a viral rift, giving marketers a bad reputation.

Either way we look at these facts, we still come to the same conclusion. We need to change the way we are doing things and become more ethically inclined when running our businesses.

Honesty has a great deal to do with any marketer, if not for any other reason but to be able to continue with one’s business. Secondly, it helps someone else get what they need.

I remember a time when people put great trust in their local merchant. You remember those days? The marketer was fair and usually gave the consumer more than they bargained for…They new the secret to long term success.

We too have that same power to claim long term success and to help change what is going on in the internet marketing circle! By claiming this power and making a few changes, we can help stimulate the economic growth that is needed to overcome hard times.

You may be saying to yourself, but I am honest in my work. You may be! There are still many marketers that use ethical marketing when selling their products. That’s great, but what about passing these ethical techniques to future merchants? Like our affiliates for example...Are we teaching them about honesty? How about the new marketer who seeks wisdom and a JV with some of the old timers?

I know some folks who have been making money for several years are going to say, "We've tried to teach the young about ethical marketing, but they aren't listening." That may be so. We cannot twist anyone's arms to get them to do the right thing.

However, we can be examples for them. We leave the ball in their court. The young will then learn from their mistakes. Without customers and future financing, they will once again seek wisdom from the old timers.

Then, and only then, will online marketing be instrumental in economic growth so it can stand firm throughout the trials that face all of us.

If this article offends anyone maybe it's time to take a look at the overall marketing picture.

Trust is built on the very foundation of honesty, especially when dealing with costumers. It’s a two-way street…the consumer gets what they paid for, their hopes are flying high and their wallets still have money in them so they can buy other things.

The marketer on the other hand, gets a repeat costumer that will tell his/her friends, who will tell their friends, and so on, making more money in the long run, while building great lasting relationships, and a fantastic reputation. To put a sugar coating on top, they are helping someone else.

So, I guess we need to ask ourselves these questions: Do we continue with this “Dog-eat dog” attitude and eat dirt?

Or… Do we claim the power from past years and help change the mindset of the consumer which will lead us to bigger profits where everyone is happy?
